Here on ElmLands, our highest priority is and always will be the well-being of the community. To ensure that our players remain safe while enjoying their time on the server, we have created a set of rules and expectations that are enforced online by our Staff Team.

Spam

Includes character spam and message spam.

Speaking in Foreign Languages

This rule ensures that chat can be moderated at all times by our Staff Team, which requires English to be the only language spoken in chat. Foreign languages may be used in private messages.

Disrespect

This includes disrespect against other players, the Staff Team, or the server as a whole.

Inappropriate Content

This includes inappropriate comments or links sent in the main chat or in messages between players.

Sexual Harassment

Inappropriate sexual remarks or advances towards a player in a threatening or derogatory way.

Discrimination

Absolutely no discriminatory language or builds will be tolerated on our server and will be punished without warning.

Death Wishes

Includes death jokes, death threats, and suicide encouragement.

Advertising

Advertising another server, socials or any other form of material with clear intentions of getting players to join or view it.

DDos / Doxxing

Includes joking about, threatening to, or actually sharing a player’s personal information publicly on our server.

In-Game Rules

In-Game Rules

Cheating

This includes any use of programs, macros, or clients that provide an unfair advantage over other players. Examples that fall under this category:
  • Autoclicking
  • Automining
  • Kill Aura
  • Scripts
  • X-ray
  • Easyplace
  • Printer

Bug Abuse

Intentionally abusing a found bug for personal benefit over other players.

Inappropriate Builds or Items

A build that represents something inappropriate, or an item that is renamed to something inappropriate.

Inappropriate Skin or IGN

Inappropriate symbols or drawings on a skin, or IGNs containing inappropriate words or phrases.

Scamming

Scamming in-game items in chat or on the Auction House.

TP / Overworld Killing

The act of /tpa, portal or plot trapping to kill other players.

Malicious Claiming

Includes claiming end ports, end crystals, etc.

Griefing

Including but not limited to destroying another player’s farms or builds, or intentionally claiming to restrict another player’s base.

Gambling / Casinos

Casinos or lotteries, as banned by the Minecraft EULA, are not allowed.

IRL Trading

Selling in-game contents for IRL payment such as PayPal, cryptocurrency or other forms of payment.
Note: This list is not exhaustive. Other behaviors in game are liable to be punished at the discretion of the Staff Team and Administration.
Consequences

Consequences

A breach of our rules may result in a mute (temporary removal from chat) or a ban (temporary or permanent removal from the server as a whole). These consequences may vary in duration depending on the offense and severity of the punishment.
